Full Job Description

As a Systems Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analysing business requirements, optimising ERP and other business systems, and ensuring effective implementation of technology solutions. You will work closely with internal stakeholders across Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, and Finance to identify opportunities for system enhancements and ensure seamless integration of business applications.

Key Responsibilities
:

    • Analyse business processes, gather requirements, and translate them into functional system specifications.
    • Work closely with business units to identify opportunities for system improvements and automation.
    • Assist in the configuration, testing, and deployment of system enhancements within the Oracle JD Edwards ERP environment.
    • Manage and maintain security roles within the system, ensuring compliance and adherence to best practices.
    • Develop reports, dashboards, and automation workflows using BI Publisher and Atlassian JIRA Service Desk to support business operations.
    • Work with developers and IT teams to resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
    • Support data analysis initiatives and system integration efforts, particularly across finance, warehousing, manufacturing, sales, and inventory modules.
    • Document system processes, troubleshooting guides, and business procedures to enhance knowledge sharing within the organisation.
    • Collaborate with IT teams to test and validate new system functionalities before deployment.

Required Skills & Abilities:
:

    • Bachelors degree or above in Business Analytics, Computer Science or a related field
    • Strong understanding of Oracle JD Edwards ERP, particularly in Finance, Supply Chain, Warehousing, Manufacturing, Sales, and Inventory modules
    • Proficient in all aspects of Atlassian JIRA for IT service management and workflow automation
    • Familiarity with BI Publisher form creation, template design and reporting
    • Proficiency in SQL, Python, or other scripting languages to support system reporting and automation.
    • Familiarity with advanced warehouse scanning solutions
    • Mid-level knowledge of Microsoft products and networking
    • Experience with POS (Point of Sale) systems is highly regarded
    • Experience with e-commerce platforms Shopify and Adobe (preferred)
    • Basic understanding of Oracle OBIEE Data Warehouse systems (preferred)
    • Ability to analyse and troubleshoot complex system issues while working closely with internal stakeholders.
    • Experience within the 4X4 or automotive industry highly regarded
    • Must be available to work on-site full time

Education & Experience
:

  • Educational Background: Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Project management certifications such as PMP or PRINCE2 are desirable.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in IT project management, with a strong background in change management and training.
  • Industry Advantage: Experience in logistics or supply chain industries is a plus.
